PMS Replica Scrimshaw Whale Tooth

Very nice, detailed replica of scrimshaw on a poly Whale Tooth. This piece has been mounted on an unstained wooden  base. 

This piece is really ornate with black and red detailing. One side has a woman wrapped in an American flag with red stripes releasing an eagle. The word Liberty is etched above her. The other has 2 ships fighting with the words Peacock & Le.Epervere. It is also marked PMS ArTEK to denote it's lineage to the Peabody Museum of Salem (now the Peabody-Essex Museum).

This piece is in very nice used condition with nice patina, fairly heavy, & measures 6" (long) x 3" (wide) x 1.5" (deep). Please note that this is a resin cast and is NOT a real whale's tooth. Please review the pictures and if you have questions please ask.
